9th Wedding Anniversary - Pottery

Although pottery itself does not seem immediately romantic, it comes from so many places and in so many forms that it shouldn't be difficult to put together a romantic present:

  • Go on holiday somewhere to buy some pottery - most countries have their own specialities
  • A serving dish for a favourite meal (pizza dish, spaghetti bowl, etc), cooked and served by candlelight
  • Pottery on the theme of one of your partner's interests, or just something unusual.
  • Teapots come in all shapes and sizes these days, making unusual gifts.
  • Add on a selection of teas, coffees, or the like for a more substantial gift. Click here for an excellent selection.

Gifts suitable for all anniversaries:

The ideas above are on the traditional theme, but here are some ideas suitable for all anniversaries:

  • personalised gifts - based on their wedding day, the location at which they were married, their names, photos of them, or indeed any aspect of their lives!
(e.g. an original newspaper from their wedding day, a poem written to celebrate their love for each other).
  • an experience to share together - click on this link to go to a site specialising in different experiences, from trips on the Orient Express to flying lessons!
  • Anniversary balloons make a fun gift, and a big box!
  • CatalogueCity has an enormous range of products, with excellent search facilities - click here to search their site.
